i haven met anyone from rc.com(that im aware of), but i get emails all the time from my website9http://boulderingmadman.tripod.com...i give tours of the eastside and ive met people from, the "other" forum (b.com) and have loads of fun... never a bad experience yet...most people are mature and intelligent enough to realize that the internet is a place to have fun, and dont take the bull$#!& quite as seriously in real life...

So far so good. Everyone i've climbed with has been cool and always helpful. As long as you are honest about your abilities and ask about what you don't know/understand, 'climb on'

Climbed with two people that I met here this past weekend and they were awesome. I'll get to meet a lot more in March and am looking forward to it.

I've met a number of people on here and climbed with them (Climbinganne, Tradpuppy, Pinnaclechick, Deafclimber, FurryFrisbee, Mike, CCraig, XL360, and I'm sure I'm leaving out some)and it has all been great experiences. Met most of them at the SE Gathering and have climbed with several of them since then as well.

I'm sure he will repay you in spades for that comment. I've only climbed with a few, but definitely all good experiences. And I have plans to hook up with a few more this year. If you're in AZ, don't be shy -- we climb EVERY Saturday. Shoot me a PM. Ed

There was only one person that I almost put a #4 Camalot in the side of thier head at the gathering. Some people noticed me swing, but I won't say who it was. Just a hint: They said La Reina looked easy after I just lead it (my hardest lead to date). -Zac

Not that I actually met them...but while climbing in the gunks I got a chance to observe the RC.com crew and they seemed like a really nice bunch. I was already climbing with a bunch of people and was a little bit shy other wise I would have introduced myself

I met a bunch of ya in Big Bear last summer and liked every last one! I had never even logged onto this site before but as I was leaving rrradam gave me a RockClimbing.com sticker. I slapped it on my truck immediately as I thought to myself, "I guess that makes me a member huh!" I wish I hadn't spaced the J-Tree gathering. I'll be at the next gathering fer sure! CHEERS Gabe

I've had sex with over 170 users of this site. Reardon is right - Adam's not that great. But that Pranaguy....especially in that sweater....man....that's good stuff http://www.rockclimbing.com/photos.php?Action=Show&PhotoID=7228 [ This Message was edited by: toobigtoclimb on 2003-01-22 19:59 ]

I was flamed by people who said my big cam were junk without actually seeing them. Then PTPP needed them for the Excalibur on El Cap and he allowed me to go with him. So, I've seen both ends of the spectrum.

I´ve been lucky to meet only good people from the site, that is in person at least, there are a few bad apples around here but I´m lucky to never have met those in person D

Gabe, is Ammons brother, and even a bit better looking. But he drives faster than I do... Hell, I think he thinks his minitruck is the General Lee from the Dukes Of Hazard.

I've climbed with a half dozen or so people from the site, and have had nothing but good experiences so far - and in one case that person has become one of the absolute best experiences in my life.
