I have this camera and love it. Some of the better pics I posted in this thread were used with it.

I've got the Sony PS-71. Not a bad camera, at 3MP. I've had zero problems with this. At previously posted, the AA batteries are nice, although you do have to use Ni-MH AA batteries, normal off the shelf kind don't actually work (Voltage/Ampage problems?) Not a big deal though, as 3rd party Ni-MH are damn cheap and reliable now days. My only issue is the plastic case... though it can (and has) survived being dropped and kicked around a fair bit. Just on a side note: Unless you're going A4+ sized photos, you're more-or-less wasting your money going past 3MP. You'd be better of spending the same cash and getting a smaller, stronger 3MP camera, than a larger 5MP. Also remember, that whatever your intentions, most people who buy digital cameras end up viewing 90% of their photos on the PC, or sending them over the web. Resolution past your desk-top size is wasted here..... Anyway, just my two cents.... Cheers, Wagas

I got an Olympus D510 Zoom off of ebay for way less than I should have paid for it. It's 2.1 megapixel w/ 3x optical and 3x digital zoom. I climb with it, and it works fine. If you're going to climb with a digital camera, I wouldn't reccomend getting a really expensive one. There's sort of a built in conflict between cameras and rocks... But definitely check out ebay, "factory refurbished" cameras that still have all of the stuff, and are being sold by people w/ good reputations.
