As long as you really know what you're doing, soloing isn't all that much more dangerous than trad climbing if you have no clue what you're doing. I mean seriously, if you don't know what you're doing while leading trad and can't figure out how to place pro, then you might as well be soloing. Actually it's even worse, cause you think you're safe when you're really not and won't be as careful.

I've fallen off well climbed climbs because a hold broke off in my hand... more than once. Easy climbs. Just wanted to throw that out there.
