It is a minor miracle that phlailing phree-climbing phools are not edited by the phuck philter. This would indeed be the device: http://www.kong.it/products/a803.jpg The Kong Adjustable Fifi Hook Since all fifis are used for resting, to call it a "resting fifi" is rather redundant, don't you think, wouldn't you say, eh? There are only two f's in "fifi", and there is only one "s" in "prusik", dammit!

So i was bored at work and browsing old material .. and i realized that i have 2 cents to add .. RE: lead carabiners .. (keylock dedicated lead biners). I found oval keylock biners at the mountain shop in curry village that have notches on the gates (3 notches around the gate).. and bought 2 .. they are my dedicated lead biners. The advantage to having the notches on the gates is that it makes it easier to find your aiders when they are clipped behind your back (to keep them out of the way while free climbing, or whatever) .. you can then find your aiders by feel alone. (and since there is always too much stuff clipped on the back of my harness, i find it pretty useful). -- ricardo
