In reply to: In reply to: who cares about a men's room? from about junior high on, i've always had alot more fun sneaking into the women's room. Hey It Might be interesting to hear about men discussing, performance, size and endurance for starters. not really, since it'd all be lies.

To me it's perfectly clear that if climbing in general and rockclimbing.com specifically are equally for both sexes, and if we have a Ladie's Room, then there must be a Gent's Room (have to give it an equally old-fasioned name to be fair). Equal means equal. It doesn't mean preferrment for one group over another.

In reply to: Equal means equal. It doesn't mean preferrment for one group over another. Equal doesn't exist in terms of this subject. Men and women are not equal and never will be. Fairness now, that does come into play in my opinion. But equality? An illusion. The only men in the Gents room would be cruising for other men. DMT

In reply to: We definitely need a men's room. I have no place to post my post-vasectomy pictures. Saw a whole slide show of Joe Ivy's free Mexican vasectomy he got with his friend Vico. In fact, my then girlfriend and all of the cavers in Austin got to see them, too. None of the ladies flinched a bit.

In reply to: We are clearly not within the confines of the Ladies Room, you oaf. Right on Bro! If we were we might find such gems as: "Everyone has a preference and there is no "right" size. " Hehe. Now is that the pathetic post of a guy who just wants some... or what??? Dude, there are hundreds, no thousands of right sizes. Millions even. Times 2 (hopefully). Cheers! DMT

Stating the obvious but I'm bored: If you read the mens quotes for this thread you'll get a good idea of what the Men's room would probably be like. If it's a true gentlemans room I think Timstitch would end up very lonely there.
In reply to: I realize the obvious answer is that they (and we) have the run of the whole site, but I still feel as though we're missing out on that opportunity to eaves-drop and learn the inner workings of their twisted little minds. We're overrun with body image threads and birth control/period conundrums. What do you think they're topics would run to? I'm obviously bored and my climbing gym membership has lapsed. ~Angela

Colonel Witherspoon, Group Captain Mandrake and Sir William Cuttlesworth are always in attendance. In fact, I don't think that Sir William has moved from his chair since last Tuesday. Certainly...smells like this is the case. I say, could you kick Sir William in the leg for us?

Is this proof if you stay alone in a room long enough you develop multiple personality disorder?

In reply to: Is this proof if you stay alone in a room long enough you develop multiple personality disorder? You are an ignorant fool. All cases of multiple personality were uncovered or admitted to being fraudulent. And if you didn't want to prod Sir William, then kindly shut the door. In reply to: And if you didn't want to prod Sir William, then kindly shut the door. We don't appreciate borish ingrate at the club. Here here. Let the long, grand tradition of G. Odoreida be played out in the hallowed halls of rockclimbing.com. I for one have a felt a certain unease with the devil-may-care scoundrels on display here and believe much of it has to do with the presence of the gentler sex. To quote from the Ladies Auxiliary Charter with the genders reversed...
In reply to: A place for men to share their experiences, ask male-related questions and get empowered in a comfortable environment. All are free to post or read, but keep in mind that there can be sensitive topics here, enter with maturity in mind. In short, a place for men to speak of men things. Investments, cricket, the latest art openings, and of course the dreadful scourge of testicular odor.

Now I know you're delusional. You think we're in a gentlemans club now? ... look around, we're in a cesspool and the stink isn't from sir William and his chair. Edit: Just noticed onsight_man I have to leave two people that would be comfortable using the word scoundral is too much. At least Tim won't have to mutter about polo and such to himself anymore.

I wonder what it's like without an opposable thumb? A good topic for the mens room and maybe why there isn't one. I'm not goin to argue you're point about being one except to say I'm sure it's a whole lot more fun than carrying around a stick up your ... well maybe not for you. Thanks it's been really fun playing but gotta go for a bit. Now I do want a Mens room or a Gentlemans room to crash.
