Better your climbing grades slip than your school grades at this point in the game...

I used to not be the best student until i started climbing. I just wouldnt try then I satrted climbing and it helped me in 2 ways 1- you have to work hard to achieve your goals wether it be climbing 5.12 or making an A. Also, That if I dont try in skool i dont get to climb-my parents see to that. I have been "grounded" from climbing many times- but my grads are better and i can climb better. Just make good grades and life is good- Very simple equation Good Grades=Climbing Time -for instance- If I make an A or B I climb that weekend Peace

Do not let your grades slip, im 15 and for the last year my grades went down because of too much gaming. It takes away your life. I love PC's and I hate them. Anyway, climbing is more important than anything, except your grades. If you get a good job you can climb whenever. So stick with it.

I know this post is probably getting old so I will say my piece and see if anyone wants to read it. I was never great at school, I think because I came before the ADHD epidemic so I was -diagnosed- the hyper kid who didn’t pay attention. The "school" years take forever but once you’re finished and free, you will want to go back to a life that only took a little studying and maybe a part-time job. Don’t wish it away but also, don’t underestimate it. It will build the ethic for your future... my mom was right all along. My dad once told me, "education is the only thing our government can’t take from you" and he is correct. Now I'm and educated, government fearing hippie and I’m happy to be.
