Hey ya, STILL LOOKING FOR INPUT ON THE RUSSIAN AIDERS>>>>> IF YOU HAVE AN OPINION, SPILL IT NOW (VIA EMAIL) OR USE INFERIOR PRODUCT FOREVER!!!!!!! UPDATE PART: Been goofing around on these the last few days. Got some proto going..... got some proto for sale.... not many.... MAYBE 6 sets. Anyone interested? They are more or less the standard Trango set up, just making way for the fully modified versions to follow. The fully modified versions will not be available until Fall or so... (maybe even next spring) so if you want some now, get out of your seat and let me know. Taking offers via Email, or I'll just Ebay the things off. First come first served...... adios, Russ

>>WILL YOU BE ADDRESSING THE WEAK TI RINGS ISSUE? BOTH SETS I HAVE ARE WARPED. USEABLE, BUT WARPED?>THAT AND A LITTLE BEEFIER MATERIAL I THINK WILL MAKE THEM DARN NEAR PERFECT FOR EVERYTHING BUT REALLY STEEP STUFF.<< Thicker is already on the program. Things in the works: Thicker main steps. Better buckles. More padding. No wimpy velcro. Bomber foot loop cinch. and........ (more to follow after testing) adios, Russ

Excellent news Russ. I`d love to try the beefier set when they come out man. As I`ve already got a set of standard Russian Aiders I won`t be needing another but thanks for posting here that you`ve got the protos for sale. ...Phil...

Dr. Piton at Rock & Ice Magazine has been sent an email asking about these things. As it stands now, there is none available. I would hate to have to answer the question and say, "these things are b*tchin', but you can't get 'em...." Russ! Are you making these things or what? Have you made any prototypes? What is the status, and what are your plans? Will you send me a set of cuffs to try? I have existing aid-tree-ehs. Randy? What's your plan? I'm promote these things til kingdom come if someone will just make them!

Boy, you really dug to find this one. His website shows he's not expecting to have them ready until next spring or later. I think there has been a problem finding a source for the titanium for the rings -- not certain, but maybe he'll chime in with an update sometime soon. www.fishproducts.com Ed
