my advice on how to start modeling

initially get some popsicle sticks and glue them together -- maybe a stick man or a house

if you find that is satisfying go out and buy - maybe a model airplane kit

SERIOUSLY find the right climb that a friend could could shot you on from up above (butt shots suck)

and HAM IT UP--
don't waste time on an onsite or red point -- stick to your intentions and show the physical beauty that person recognized -- you know what you can climb--- capture the muscles - flexibility - form the beauty that we climbers have for the world to enjoy / other climbers to relate to and for you and your beginning portfolio
good luck and have fun

Alright Buck-O,

This should be your first step....
Post a pic along with this forum, and let the members of rc.com decide whether or not you are model worthy. If we decide "no", we will save you a lot of time and effort. If we decide "yes", you will be propelled to instant stardome and will be dating hot climbing babes in no time.

Ok. so this sounds like an arogant topic i know. I work at a local outdoor store selling climbing equipment. Today i was screwing around with a coworker trying on some sample Salomon clothes and she recomened very intensly that i think about getting involved in outdoor modeling. What it comes down to is this. I've never had a profesional photo taken of me before, I have no idea where to start, and i dont have a very strong portfolio to get started with. So, my questions are...
Where do i go and who do i talk to?
Dose anybody in the Portland Area need a model for anything? I climb hard and would be willing to do some crazy s--- off rope if anybody has any ideas but not the stupidity to try it.
This is something that I am willing to invest alot of time in. I think that this would be a great thing to look back on, and would open a lot of doors. I've got alot of open time, and alot of will. I think that i could have a lot of fun doing this but just dont know where to start. Connections are always nice. :D

My first question would be what are the details of this:

In reply to:
i was screwing around with a coworker

1)was she hot?

2) was she good? any interesting talents?

Really that was the most interesting part of the post.
