You might find some placements between run out bolts...and you don't know the sizes (there are no gear suggestions in the guide book) so you gotta bring the whole rack on every route geezz. Really I'm surprised they weren't robbed.

Very cool. Everyone has new gear sometime. Glad everyone had a good time. Lets see, New Jack, Red Rock, Mt Lemon, El Cajon, way to get er done. Re New Jack, is there much moderate stuff out there? Looks like a lot of stout sport climbs, which are generally a little beyond me. Climb Safe, Don

You might find placements, but I'd be very surprised if they held a fall. There's a reason new jack was bolted....

Dude, Kate tested screamers, they work, you just have to yell really really loud as you fall. Something about the sound waves canceling out the vibrations from the tearing stitches.

We canceled our plans to go there because there were 50 mph winds in the forecast for the whole weekend. Jay

It's been pretty nice actually. A little cool, but not bad at all. We climbed most of yesterday and were fine in either sun or shade. Not sure what tomorrow holds in store though!

As others have already noted, you should not be teaching anyone else to climb. She's too new to understand the depths of your inexperience. Abbadab, unless you're just interested in toproping at the gym, do yourself and your loved ones a favor -- find a more experienced teacher...

Leech... f*ck you... she was only toproping anyways... and why don't YOU teach her how to climb?? She's looking for a mentor so if you want to fill in the spot then step up to the plate. I'm sure you've been climbing longer than me so you should know a lot more than me and it'd be awesome with all your years of experience if you did teach her... Another thing... as far as me teaching her I wasn't the only one. My partner (my mentor) has been climbing for 12 years and is a damn good climber. I'd put him up against you any day of the week...
