So this soon to be released camera(Olympus TG-1 tough camera) will be the ultimate take anywhere camera. Now I am not saying that this camera is going to get you professional quality photos like Olympus has claimed in some ads. However, it will allow you to take excellent pictures in pretty much any situation and it is pocket-able.
It has an excellent and reasonably fast(f/2 - f/4.9) 4x(35mm equivalent 25-100mm) optical zoom lens. It also takes 1080p videos and is water proof to 40 Feet. It will be $399 at launch in retail stores. Probably available sometime around the start of summer.
