Anyone see the short segment they showed on TLC this evening on slacklining the Rostrum? I only saw a short part of it but they had some guy named Carter and a few others showing off. It was on the show "World's most extreme stunts" of all things. Thought it was really cool that they had something like that on tv without having to download some clip.

yeah, I saw that.. I was waiting to hear about some sort of accident, as most of the stunts they had on there resulted in ppl getting hurt. I'm glad they showed this one to be the safest. When they showed that guy rigging up a homemade cable setup for the pendulum jump, I could tell right away there was going to be a big problem!

was is a rerun? i vaguely remember seeing a piece about slacklining, but that was way before i got into it. (i remember thinking 'what kind of idiots would do something like that?!?' :mrgreen:
