I've hear this term tossed around when lens talk arises. Can I get a Def'n of what a PRIME lens is, and what makes it "prime"? thanks

A prime is simply a lens with a set focal length, as opposed to, say a zoom lenes. Primes: 28mm, 50mm, 135mm, etc. Zooms: 17-35mm, 70-200mm, etc. Bueno?
