I have only been there once, but I would love to get out there and lead some of those routes I have heard about, but I also hear you kind of need a local to show you around there. My partner and I have been meaning to get down there, so pm me about going there and I'll be there with all the gear :)

I live not far from RSP. Let me know when you're coming and I'll be happy to show you around.

its true. RSP has turned into a dump. filthy local rednecks painting thingsa again. as MD climbing database manager i might think we should do a crag cleanup for the community. send PM's to zliper. and let me have some feedback

Lame climbing huh? Have you tried leading Strawberry Jam or the two Breakaway routes? IMHO those routes are some of the best leads in the state of MD.

Maybe I'm blind but I'm at RSP every week, hiking & running if not climbing and I haven't seen any "rednecks" or paint. Besides, this is a state park and open to everyone.

If it's as bad as you say, count me in for a crag cleanup. The park rangers are climber-friendly and I'm sure they would appreciate the help.

I agree. Climbing ain't that lame, in fact it's pretty good. Most crags near cities have some trash but this is better than most. I live near Illchester rocks and that place has lots of paint, broken glass and rednecks(drinking teens)! But I still climb there. Rocks is rocks. Charlie

Yeah, but isn't that kind of like the best surfing in Kansas?

Yeah, kinda. Where do you surf in Kansas? I'm up for a road trip. Kansas in January, now you're talking. Charlie(I'll never be an ex-kans?? What's a person from Kansas called? Kansan? Kansian? Just doesn't sound right.
