hey, are there any annual climbing comps at like, Boston Rock Gym or something? Sorry, I'm a little out of the loop right now...

That depends. How old are you? The comps at BRG I think are geared towards the younguns' (under 20). I have been asking about it too, but the climbing coach says the kids would kick my butt. He's probably right. Josh

I'm seventeen...but i'm also recovering from ankle surgery. I don't know, i figure in a couple monthes i'll be back in the scheme of things and could probably compete

Yeah...Im 14 and interested in competing. I live north of Boston, and am a regular visitor to Boston Rock Gym. Are there any compititions for a short kid who does only 5.10s and V1s? lol, who cares if the kids will kick your butt? Go for the fun of hanging and climbing with a bunch of cool people. :) And Kye, you'd have loved the last few comps in Anchorage. Just went to one on Saturday and had a totally awesome time. :) The leg must be better by now... gonna be up next summer to conquer Hatchers? ;)
