Hey! I am thinking about signing up for ABS... Whats it like? I've never been to an indoor climbing comp... Who is going to be in which comps??

I'm out until late next month. After that, I'm looking at a few comps to hit.
1/24/2004 - Louisville KY
1/31/2004 - Knoxville TN (hopefully)
2/7/2004 - Oxford OH (near my hometown, so I get to see my family)
2/24/2004 - Louisville KY
3/13/2004 - Cincinnati OH

ABS comps are definitely worth it
-like one big party, except more climbing and less drunk people
free red bull, clif bars, lotsa cool boulder problems (depending where you go i guess...)
the only problem is loose guidelines for who goes in which category
doesn't matter though, it all works out
V0- to V16 climbers, sign up!

A.B.S All the way! I would really suggest signing up, it's a great organization, well worth your money. I'll be at mainly local comps..

I have a better idea...what I thought this post was about.
We all take "before" photos of our abs, then work them really good for 6 weeks, then take "after" shots and have a contest.
Wee hoo!
No photoshop allowed, fake tans and oil are OK. The "photoshop police" will be provided with free t-shirts for their participation.
