This is one of my favorite photos that I've posted to this site, yet it generated very little interest. It would be nice to hear what other photographers think of it.

Yes, I know it looks better cropped. I used this as one of my screen wallpapers and cut the sides off so that it fit full screen. Looks better without the far edges.

I'd like to see it more tall than wide. Wide shows the scenery, which is kinda colorless and boring, and tall might have managed to get more focus on the problem. Also, I find my eyes drawn to all the people just standing around doing nothing, and that detracts a bit as well.

It was intended to be more of a "lifestyle shot" than an "action shot."

I think it would be a bit nicer if the guys at the base actually had their hands up spotting too be honest :)

I'd like to see more of the climber's face. We see his eyes which is good, however I'd see like to see his expression.

Love your dog just chilling out in the background ;)
