I remember when I joined RC.com last year there was a Colorado gathering in the spring at 11 mile.
11 mile would be great again or we could camp out at Shelf or ......

Anyone up for one? Say may/ June time.. I'll bring the beer!

Free beer? This could be a multi-state gathering of drunkards!

I may be having a party the first week of mat at my place (15 min to Eldo). It will be a graduation/ housewarming party. All are welcome though. I will post dates and plans later.

Hey, depending on when you all decide to do the gathering, there are some Wyomingites that more then likely would like to join. That is if at least you Coloradins would let us join you. I will try to keep an eye in the forum, to see when and where and of course if we are welcome. Take care and happy climbing.

I need late May. My job in Cali doesn't end till the end of the second week. Grrrr. Maybe I can just meet up with all the Wyoming people for a party at Devils Tower before June!

Waugy,

No you can't. Voluntary closure for Native Americans (and its hotter than hell). Black rock + Noon time sun = very much bad. We were cooking last september when Jay and I tried it.

Brian

PS Bird closures shut it down for April and May as well. Fall is the time to go.

If you go to access and closures, you can read the press release about the falcon closure. http://www.rockclimbing.com/...iewtopic.php?t=53317

The voluntary closure is why I said before June, or in other words, late May.

Still plenty of other routes to climb that aren't effected by the falcon closure, BTW.
