Looking for a very small & very light digital camera to take backpacking, mountaineering, climbing, etc. I have a Canon S300 but it's too big and I usually have to dig it out of somewhere so I never take all the pictures I want to. I'm leaning towards one of the two listed above but any suggestions would be appreciated.

A couple I climb with regularly have one of the little Cannon's I've got an older Fuji, my buddy a newer one. The Cannon is almost to small to be practical and uses a proprietary rechargeable battery. The Fuji's use AA's and have exellent optics and generally 3-1 or better optical zoom. The optical viewfinder on the Fuji's is also more useable and the flash is a little more powerful. Slightly larger package, but about the same weight, especially if you use lithium AA's. Good price also!
