A little tighter with a flash fill to eliminate the dark shadow between him and the rock. Still a great shot though!

I know everyone is striving to decenter the talent but there's not much in the left and bottom of this photo that's interesting. I'd rather fill the frame with the foreground of pretty rock on the right, even if it meant violating the dreaded "no centered talent" rule. UB

Sometimes it's more about the frame being filled by the subject than him being centered, IMO. Anyhoo... all that ground around the talent makes it look like he's on something much bigger than a boulder problem, even though the big pad is a giveaway. But the colors are drab. Maybe it would have worked better in b+w?

I like the shot, but there's a definite green color-cast which I find distracting. I opened it up in PS and gave it the simple Auto Color command; fixed it nicely!
