Anyone bought or used the new Mammut Revelation 9.2mm yet? I've read a good review, but have yet to speak to anyone who's tried one out - I need to replace my existing 70m rope which I use premarily for leading on continental sports climbs, so the low weight would be a bonus both for my backpack and at the airport check-in! Keen to know how it handles before I part with my hard-earned cash.

I picked one up last spring as the 55g/pm was a welcomed savings. I have 45+ days on it and it is holding very strong. My days have been everything from long trad routes to steep clip ups with many whippers. When it does finally say "uncle" I will most assuredly pick up another.

Ok, so my next questions are: I fly into the Vancouver in 2 weeks and will head down to Smiths (No tax in Oregon, right?). Will I pay less in Canada or US? Is REI my best option, if i want to pick one up off-the-shelf? I know how MUCH they are in Europe, see? Anyone?
