Since sometime this morning, I can see nothing on the RC.com front page except the logo and the top RH advertizement. Did something change here? Or, is it me? This occurs both with Safari and IE browsers BTW. Curt

I'm not sure if it helps the debugging process, but the front page problem occurs with Netscape 7.0 and Mozilla Firefox as well as the other browsers mentioned. Andrew

I think it is one of those weird things. Tim seems to have fixed similar problems before. I am currently logged on with a PC having an IE browser--and everything is fine. However if I log on with my iBook, neither the Safari or IE browser will display the Front Page properly. Go figure. Curt

I've been having the same problems. Also after viewing some threads I see the side bar and other times the posts run the whole width of the screen with nothing on the side, which I kinda like but it might be related to this other problem.

I'm having the same problems also, including the front page, the side bar on the forum page, and reporting issues. :?

No front page on Konqueror. Once I log in the front page appears. Lost the sidebar menu for a while this afternoon using Firefox, but eventually it came back.

Holy crap batman we've got problems. The gear reviews section is gone as is another one. The forums are all squished and the pictures all large...Somebody do something or I won't be able to avoid my homework anymore!

or perhaps it's just getting the code updated... We cache fairly aggressively in order to avoid crushing our pathetic little servers. This often requires some 'interesting' workarounds. Short of buying new servers (which we cannot afford), it's about all that I can do to try and manage the existing system. The codebase is, in fact, currently unstable -- I just pushed out a bunch of changes. The bugtracker has an extremely strange problem that I have not been able to isolate yet -- the same exact code behaves differently on the two servers (despite their running identical webserver binaries). I didn't write that chunk of code and I'm having a lot of trouble isolating where it's breaking, but look on the bright side -- you have a 1 in 3 chance of it working...
