where is that in NC? I go to college near the New River Gorge in WV and am looking for mid/highline spots (I have some good trees scoped out for a midline) Jeremy how long is it? 20 feet or so?

Very nice kilgymrats! Ship Rock, no? Have you thought about Devil's Cellar at Table Rock at all?

Jeremy J_ung was right. The line is set up on Ship Rock. The gap spans the dihedral that is p2 of Borrowed Time. The distance is roughly...~30' across and aprox. 80' to the big ledge below, and ~220' to the ground. It's an awesome line simply b/c of the view. If you need some more info on it, or you're going to be in the area let me know and I'll help ya' set it all up; as long as I get a chance to walk it again! :) What's up with NRG? I was up there a few weeks ago and I was looking for Highline spots too. Any good ones? J_ung Yeah man..I'm headed out to Devils Cellar on Sunday to set up a line! It's going to be awesome; I can't wait. I'll post up the pix if everything goes as planned. Do you know if it's ever been slacked' before? I've seen a pic at Black Dome in Asheville of a guy on a line out there..but I don't know who he is, or if he ever made it across. Later ~jOsh

Turtle, I went to this place on Sunday: http://www.rockclimbing.com/...p.cgi?Detailed=42859 This gap is out at Devils Cellar near Table Rock in the Linville Gorge. The line is about ~60-~70ish' across and about ~140' high. Awesome views and a real easy set up (relatively speaking). I wipped quite a few times but ended up walking it twice. The wind was really kicken' so i'm going to use that as my excues (never mind the wobbly knees!). It's good stuff man. On to Crowders Mtn. to hopefully walk another gap next weekend!! This stuff is just too awesome!! ~jOsh http://www.rockclimbing.com/...p.cgi?Detailed=42857 Thanks again to Joe and Erin for helping with the set up!
