Group sites are not available before these new dates. So, I have reserved INDIAN COVE group sites #5 and #6. We can have 20 people at each site, 19 cars in all.

If you want to attend a gathering these dates, please PM me. Your cost will be $1 per night to use the group site. We have the sites for four nights, Thursday-Sunday, depart Monday.

When I receive your PM, I will give you an address to send your couple of bucks to, and I will send you a 'ticket' which will reserve your space in the group site.

Please provide the following information when you PM with your attendance reservation:
Climbing skill level
Lead Trad - can/can't
Rack - got one/don't
Climbing partner - need one/got one

I hope these dates will work for everyone that wants to attend!

The end of May is hotter than Hell in Joshua Tree--particularly at Indian Cove, which is 1,000ft lower than the rest of the Park.

Ugh. Is it really unbearably hot that early in the summer? Well, I have reserved the sites, if I have to cancel them for lack of attendance, I'm only out $27 bucks. I figured it'd be worth it...

So, PM me if you want to go then...

I wasn't aware of the context of your question when you asked me at the gym last night. You don't want to have an event in J Tree in late May. Stick with April. If you can't reserve sites, several people can show up early to claim sites.
