You definitely get your value with So Ill. Their starter set is overly generous and by picking up an extra set, you can rotate the large holds for side pulls, pinches, and small slopers.

i really like the voodoo holds, theyre sweet. their slopers are particularly awesome, and the texture of their grips is perfect - enough to climb well on but not to much so your hands end up all worked. heres their site: http://www.voodooholds.com/

I really enjoy the voodoo holds. If you get their technical set, they can work really well for hard feet on an overhang, or piss you off crimps on a more flat section. Good intermediate holds too. They also have the dual texture so you can really force a move with the way they are set.

Cheapholds are awesome. I really like their slopper set #3. Voodoo holds are also very very good. I would however stay away from the atomic holds. A friend of mine got them and we were not impressed.

My holds are made of a mixture of sand and epoxy resin. It are great holds feel like real sandstone and have good grip. I would recommend you this type of holds over any kind of plastic holds I have climbed on. I have bought them on http://www.kletterzeug.de/
