Can't Post

Alright, I understand how a person would negotiate something like the fourth pitch of Tangerine Trip, i.e. simply aiding downward.

My question pertains to bailing off really steep terrain. Some Supertopos say "down-aiding" is required for retreat.

How would you cat's go about this? Would you keep yourself on repell as you aided downward, or would you full-on lead the pitch in reverse?

Can anyone offer up their epics brought on by fleeing the super-steep?

(T minus 5 weeks and counting...)

Rock on,

john
