Looking for suggestions on where to buy climibing gear in the area. I'm basically looking for shoes right now, but most places I've been only have a selection of 3 or 4 shoes and I'd like to find some place that offers more than that. Thanks!

Ralph:

Thanks for the advice. Been to both stores actually. REI had like 6 shoes and PRG had 4 to try on. Plus they seem so expensive here in the states (I'm from B.C. Canada)...

Thanks though!

Did you check EMS at Univ. of Penn? They probably have about 7 or 8 different shoes. Prices aren't too ba either. Also, I know that Go Vertical will allow you to try shoes so you know what size to order. I believe that it is Boreal shoes that they have down there.

Thanks Brian! I am planning on making it to Go Vertical pretty soon to check it out (luckily both it and PRG are the same distance from my house). I didn't know that there was an EMS at UPenn...I will look into it! Thanks!
