I'm looking into buying a helmet for climbing. I was wondering if this helmet would be good enough, or should I go with something else. http://www.overstock.com/cgi-bin/d2.cgi?PAGE=PROFRAME&PROD_ID=43287 If you could help it would be greatly appreciated.

i was thinking about the same one, it says it's CE certified, so i imagine it'd be just as good as any other...except i'd buy it directly from acme

Hey I just bought that helment two weeks ago. Its horrible, it looked great on the net but when it arrived, I was very disappointed. The helmint is not much more then foam wraped in saranwrap. To add to how cheap this helmit was I straped it to the outside of my pack by the chin strap, (due to limeited space) and just walking down the trail the strap and the band that holds the helmit toghter fell out. BOO ON THE ACME HELMIT
