Shark Attack - Spring Break on CBS

This cheesy looking movie was regularly promoted all weekend on CBS. If you watched any NCAA men's hoops, you probably saw ads.

Last night, when the movie was supposed to air, the Charlotte CBS station showed another movie. There was a message across the bottom of the screen saying the Shark Attack movie would air at 2:15am.

I was wondering if anyone else noticed this movie being pre-empted. Does anyone know why? Could it have to do with the shark attack off the coast of Australia? Or was it just censored for T&A and/or violence?

I was watching CBS out of Raleigh or Durham, not sure which one, and saw all the advertising. But I couldn't stomach the thought of watching that movie (horrible acting, played out plot, blah blah) so I changed channels after the games. Sorry, no help.

I watched bits. Promised the wife I wouldn't watch Deadwood and Carnivale without her so had to find something.

Here's a pic

It was pretty bad but girls in bikinis softened the blow. 8^)

I turned it off after the opening scene when the 3 (or was it 4) "locals" were killed. REALLY cheesy.
I was surpised they had it on even with the whole Delray Beach situation going on. In case anyone hasn't heard, there were hundreds of sharks swarming off the coast of Delray Beach Florida this last week.

I saw it! Best movie . . . ever.

I especially liked the scene where the defiant girl gets pushed into the water and all the other girls follow. Then, out of nowhere, something like 15 sharks appear. One second, hot wet chicks. Next second, 15 fins. Meh? Where did they come from?
