Hey there! My name is Marc; I am a grad student at Wake. I have been climbing for a long time, but kind of on and off. I am back and really would like to get out once a week or so after work. If anyone is interested in a partner, PM me. When climbing frequently, I could TR 5.10 confidently, but I am a little out of shape and NEED to get back on the rock. I have built a little rack and want to get into trad, I have nearly completed a sweet home wall too. So, if you live in/around Winston, drop me a line and we can trade contact info.

Welcome to the Triad! Check out the recent pilot mtn post from Brenda, she's looking for someone to climb w/this weekend. She's a strong 5.10 leader, and can totally get ya the hook up if you want.
There is a huge community of climbers here. The best way to meet people is to make the trek up to the gym on Tuesday or Thursday nights (Tumblebees in Greensboro). Most of the climbers train there, and you'll know quickly who the core group of climbers is. Otherwise, Pilot doesn't stay open late enough for most people to get out weekdays, not til summer anyway.
There's TONS of climbing here- trad, bouldering, some sport. And best of all, we are only 2.5 hours from the NRG!
