When I put in a hard session my fingers swell up under my figner nails and it hurts like hell when I try to straiten them out. My index, middle, and ring figner constantly feel like they are jammed. It takes one or two routes to warm them up and get them working properly again. Has anyone else had this problem? I have tried all the salves, and lotions I can find. I haven't tried bag balm. Any suggestions?

It dooes not sound like your skin is the problem so no balms or salves will help this. Sounds like an overuse issue. I too want to shake off that winter rust but mabye try for moderate workouts or longer workouts on easier terrain.

Do you have a circulation problem?
