Well the weather looks like crap for climbing in Ontario on Saturday. Anyone else headed to the crag cleanup?

Wouldn't the barbeque alone be worth attending the cleanup? It's still pretty much a coin toss as to whether the weather gets wetter for the weekend, butterfly effect and all. And I'm sure we would all want to hear what Grant has to say about access issues.

Unles something else comes up (I have a couple of friends that are moving away next week, so spending time with them is priority) I'll be there.

Ontario and I believe the specific crags would be those in the Miltan area such as Kelso, Rattlesnake, buffalo and Nemo. Not %100 sure though.

Unfortunately, I think the only crag getting the cleanup is Rattlesnake - Does anyone know whether any of the guides will be participating in the cleanup effort? Personally, I thank Grant and the Access Committee for organizing this event, but I was definitely more pleased about working at Nemo last year than I am about working at Rattlesnake this year....

Last year was good at Nemo the kids did the top and had lots of fun there was four children between five and ten. We all went climbing after and have kept in touch for the most part.

I actually enjoyed running around in the rain on Saturday, I rather doubt that I would have gotten outside to do anything all weekend if it hadn't been for the clean up.

Yes, it was a soaking good time. I discovered that kitchen latex gloves hold onto wet rock really well. Of course, I haven't seen so many people shiver since the New Years' polar bear swim.
