I spent the entire winter skiing and operating snow cats. Now just starting to climb again. When I have time, I bike, splunk, check out slot canyons, ride my atv, and hunt.

I swim, run, bike and ski. Fly fishing is pretty effin' sweet too. It's all good. I also like to sit here at my computer and look at pictures and everything else on this site. I think I have seen most of them. I need to start taking pictures of myself climbing.

In reply to: I am just curious about what every one does for fun when you aren't climbing. Flagellate myself with a cat-o-nine-tails. Doesn't everybody? JL

kayaking and hiking, im planning on kayaking around vancouver island, Canada in 55 days... in a few years. I like how everyone on this site does tons of outdoor stuff (other than climbing) where if you ask an average population, a very small amount does alot of outdoor activity... i think it's cool

I play the guitar and the bagpipes. School's been a little too much lately to coordinate going to the gym to work out AND climbing, but after exams, I'll be working out, mountain biking (although the trails here are getting kinda boring cause I've been out there so much), and I'm looking into doing a little bit of gymnastics. IRON CROSS HERE I COME............right....well, we all have goals right? When I'm not doing school or my own thing, the army keeps me pretty busy.

Well, I would like to say that I road/mt. bike when I am not climbing. I would love to say that if I'm not climbing then I'm kayaking the (insert river here). It would even be fine to say that when I'm not climbing, I'm totally inebreated. But the truth is is that when I'm not climbing I am working. And when I'm not climbing or working, then I am trying to develop and play a new dimension of neo-classical shred guitar while trying to set a higher standard for inebreation. Damn, those galloping chops, riffs and shreds really sound great at the end of the night. I wonder why they just don't sound the same when I play them back in the morning?

Work and sleep. Anything other than climbing is just a distraction from climbing. Sheesh, I wish my life was as well-rounded as the rest of the dudes here.
