Its out past Culp Valley, down in the drainage to the right... That's my guess. Water polished granite boulders. Went there several years ago. Nice bouldering.

In reply to: Wow that site makes me really want to not boulder. outstanding. this is, of course, the intended effect. making sure good folks such as yourself are repelled by bouldering, and it's attendant derelict culture and questionable devotees. never mind. these are not the boulders you seek. move along, now.

There are no windmills out by Culp Valley. This area is on the way to J-tree or the Tramway. Looks like it would be good in the spring/fall and mostly too hot for summer time. Looks like the road from Black Mtn heading down to I10. Might be a good way to get EZ back from CO.

these boulders are located near the western edge of the foot of the north face of mt. san jacinto. they sit on the south side of a bump in the massive alluvial fan that speads out beneath san jacinto's north face, which makes it pretty hard to see them from I-10. seriously, you didn't see any of our old chalk??

I'd like to misplace my water bottles at these Jupiter boulders, but my cadre of homeboys would have no part of it. Besides, I ain't seeing any pics of V0s for me to master.
