Well boo on this situation, weather forcasts 20-40% chance of rain for tomorrow around Joshua Tree, I was supposed to go for the day, it's a 2 hour drive from me. Here's the question (albeit it lame, boring, uninteresting) But, I can't make up my mind on what to do...What would you do?

Go! I'm going A day of drinking beer in the rain at Josh is better than a day of honeydos! Even when it's a 100% chance it only rains out there about 40% of the time.

Take the chance. When it rains out here sporatically, there are more times than not places to climb that are either totally dry or close...........If it is too wet to lead, top rope in the rain..it's a blast!

If it rains, I'll just go smoke a bowl in the Hobbit Hole, or the Space Station. And then a quick trip thru the Grand Chasm. There IS always something to do at Josh

There's a reason it's called a DESERT! Most often it will be cloudy at worst while Los Angeles and environs get dumped on. Even when it rains it usually passes quickly and the rock dries quickly allowing for climbing right after a downpour. If it does rain go for a hike or pump out on Caveman.
