This part of the Republicans' overall vision of an "ownership" society.

"After further review..." Some good arguments were made for returning this topic to the regular forums. epic_ed moved this thread from Community to Access Issues & Closures.

Why not stop F-ing with it and just leave it in General? It's at least as appropriate as Access Issues & Closures or Community. IMHO it was fine where it was.

Does anyone think a stupid law like this is going to pass? without writing a letter, sending an email, or picking up the phone I can trust that the elected officials of the US of A are not going to pass such a retarded law as this. instead of moving this thread, how about locking it.

In reply to: How can they do that if we don't tell them what we want? I'll start writing now. What sucks for me is Santorum is my senator. But not for long. Maybe I'll write to him anyway. Dear Senator Santorum, I am writing as a concerned constituent regarding S 786, the National Weather Services Duties Act of 2005. I urge you to vote no on this bill. ..... Signed U. R. Adumbass

Crotch, At the moment the waves aren't anything to write home about. I can't wait for the water to get above 50 degrees. Out of shape desk jockey + 5mil wetsuit + overhead beach break = death For that reason alone I need free NOAA/NWS data.

This is almost as good an idea as turning the National Forests and Parks into self supporting businesses, as well as the NEA and other such fluff that contributes nothing to society (WTF?). One thing that people can also do in this situation is stop using accuweather at all and perhaps write them your feelings about it as well. Use http://www.wunderground.org or just go to the source http://www.nws.noaa.gov josh
