I've got family up there... (at least, I used to... not sure if I still do... ) Me, I've lived in the Concord area for ever. Various towns, but the same area... (we have good ice cream stands!)

From your little inbred state, Jules, it would surprise me if you weren't related to someone in each town.

Doosh, be careful on bashing us NH folks for inbreeding - considering it really is an actual problem in the south...

Ah, ever the joker doosh! Try the 'real' south - like Texas... ever notice your family tree doesn't have any branches? How many billy-joes and bobbie-sues can you have?!?

My mom's name is Patty Sue. She is from New York. Please, just let me give Juliana shit. It's so much more gratifying if you DON'T stick up for her. She doesn't need it.

Juliana picked this fight. She will not win. Noone does. Not on irc. You can't. I am not fighting her either, just giving her s--- at every turn. It is phase 2.

the majority of rednecks i've met don't have a southern drawl..they've got that fast paced new england accent.

sodapopsodapop - it's catching! Doosh, give Jules whatever you want but when you start bashing NH you insult me as well - I'm not defending her, I'm defending me. And push - sure there are plenty of rednecks up north, but the topic wasn't rednecks it was inbreeding. The state of texas alone has more people than all of new england combined, a pretty good indicator that there's more rednecks in the Southern US.

Yes, but I'm a native new englander push. And I think you have the idea of Virginia being a place of inbreeding mixed up with West Virginia, appalachia country. And I'm not a guy, but a girl. Just because you live somewhere doesn't mean that's where you are 'from' ya inbred tard. [ This Message was edited by: howitzer on 2002-07-10 09:50 ]

Hey T, Us homegrown Oregon kids have always called it pop. Since going to college, I've been in soooo many arguments on this topic. I think Oregon is one of the few remaining "pop" sanctuaries in the free world. I think soda sounds more old school. I've rarely heard all pops (hehe) refered to as coke, but I have heard it. It's just a matter of the environment in which you were raised. Some people learn and practice calling it different things. The battle will continue.

Now, Now kids, lets not get the southern/inbreeding thing started up. I'd hate to have to start in on the annoying habits of some of the other regions of this country, or other countries to the north. [ This Message was edited by: biggernhell on 2002-07-10 13:28 ]
