The best advice that I have gotten from this site is how to make liquid chalk . It sounds kinda dinky, but I made some this morning and it is freaking awesome! As of yet, I haven't received any really bad advice.

BTW... check this out! http://www.rockclimbing.com/forums/viewtopic.php?topic=12371&forum=23&16

I've learned a ton of info from the people on this site...

The benefit that I put to use most often is getting beta on places or even specific climbs. Just think of a place and do a member search, 9 times out of 10, there's someone from close by that can offer sound beta on the area you're looking to visit.

But the greatest benefit is just meeting and communing with people who actually understand me and my passion for climbing. This is a fantastic climbing community; and it's all due to the great folks who make it up.

I could ramble all day long about specific tips and tricks or route/area beta that I've received from the folks here; or even about the incredible times I've had getting together with the people I've met through RC.com - but I haven't the time to do so, for I would go on and on and on....

Good people, good info, good vibe.

Thanks, all!

Mick

You might want to get that checked out...

"Doctor, if you could just cure the itching, but leave the swelling..."

That's all we need, more nurses with herpes.

I can't believe that I wasted my 420th post on that...

Oh well, celebratory bonghits to come!
