At the site mentioned above, you can view a map showing the potential developments planned near the ridge. Fortunately, these are all quite distant from the Mohonk Preserve property. This group actually seems a little wacky to me--they seem to be strict anti-development people, no matter what. I'm sure they would object to building even one more house anywhere near the ridge.

That would suck, but not as much as if they built a resort right on top of some of the best climbing there. Oh wait, they've already got that going at Sky Top :evil:

You're kidding, right?
Besides, Bert Smiley will never allow climbing at Skytop again.
BTW, Mohonk Mountain House was built YEARS before Dick Williams or anyone else started climbing the pretty white rocks.
