I am running out of excuses for my employer as to why I can't show up for work because I'm climbing. Besides the obligitory "sick," what are some more creative ways to get out from under the thumb/boss/girlfriend/whatever? Nick

I had blood in my urine last year and had to go see a urologist, received several different kinds of tests, had plenty of doctor's appts., and suffered severely from the negative side effects. When I finally ran out of ways to use this as an excuse I quit "because I was costing the company too much time and money." I was rewarded with a minor severance, a letter of recommendation for the future, and a former boss who gets trip reports and writhes with jealousy. Gotta love it!!!!!
