I wanted to start with aid climbing but there aren't any stores in my country or even continent(I live in the Netherlands) who sell aid gear.My question was, do you now any stores that would ship to the Netherlands ? Thanks, -LT

Lucas... ever heard of Russ Walling? http://www.fishproducts.com/pics/mims.jpeg You'd buy gear from this man, right? A peer of John Long, long time Yosemite SAR siter, rode in a cargo net with a dead body during an extraction from El Cap, funnier than hell and perfector of the protaledge??? Well, he owns a company, a famous comany in aid circles actually: http://www.fishproducts.com/ He even occasionally reads and posts to this site. Give him a shout and tell him what you need and where you are... tell him Dingus sent you. Wait... belay that. Tell him Brutus sent you. DMT

don't forget about http://gearexpress.com and http://yatesgear.com. gear express has a suburb selection, excellent deals and is probobly one of the mostly highly regarded online retailers in the industry. they are also just some excellent people and are always willing to help out. yates makes the ultimate wall aiders, harnesses and gear racks. no others compare.

In reply to: I wanted to start with aid climbing but there aren't any stores in my country or even continent(I live in the Netherlands) who sell aid gear.My question was, do you now any stores that would ship to the Netherlands ? Thanks, -LT you are WRONG mate. i can buy aid gear in most climbing stores in slovenia. and i know that bergfuchs in austria also has aid gear. you just need to check a "real" climbing store, not an outdoor store that just happens to sell shoes and draws.

I couldn't even find anything at Globetrotter or Rock&Run and they're the biggest of Europe... -LT
