so it goes... sometimes it seems like the nicer you try to be, the more someone's out to screw with you. Hopefully this doesn't discourage future acts of charity.
And hey, maybe hang on to a shred or two of faith in climbers...maybe the culprit doesn't climb at all. In Santa Barbara, some of our best bouldering takes place right where rednecks, high school kids, and frat boy kinda people go to drink beer, break bottles, try to get lucky, torture animals, have pissing contests, etc

dude..it's mission gorge, the car-clouting capitol of san diego county. why are you so sure it was climbers, and not random vandals?
