All the Ken Nichols antcics have me thinking.... how many of you like going on benders and erasing those nasty offensive metal shinies? One time I chopped four bolts, but that's the extent of my anti-retro rage exploits. How bout the rest of you/// What's the most you have chopped?

In reply to: One time I chopped four bolts, but that's the extent of my anti-retro rage exploits. How bout the rest of you/// What's the most you have chopped? hmmmmm... what comes to mind is: :troll: or maybe: :deadhorse: So, mr/ms milfer, how many: - routes have you developed? - crags have you developed? - trails have you built/maintained? - people have you instructed on preserving our precious land resources? Do you donate time/effort/money to the Access Fund or local climber's advocacy groups? I could go on, but counting bolts seems so much easier. :boring:

Do you donate time/effort/money to the Access Fund or local climber's advocacy groups? - about 40 or so - helped with two...maybe a third, sort of - too many too count - hundreds.... Access Fund? HAHA...No, no, no sir. I fall into the Sherman camp on that one. (read his seminal piece in the latest peridocal) . The Access Fund has never represented my interests or the interests of any of the hundrted of actual climbers I know. They do have purdy pictures and catchy feel-good slogans tho....

Last week I chopped every anchor on all the 5.11 and under routes at Supercrack Buttress and Battle of the Bulge. It was hot, but I am sick of seeing bolts next to perfectly protectable cracks.

Nice Ronnie, keep up the good work. Those that frequent the area should have sizable racks with them anyway. Placing/clipping bolts there is just plain lazy! Thank you.
