I'm headed up to Bass Lake Wednesday Aug 10 through Friday Aug 12 for a camping trip with my friends. Anyone know if there are any boulders up there? I'll be at a campsite called Wishon on the south-east side of the lake. I'm not really looking to tick any problems in particular, just mess around while most of my friends are hung over. :D

Hey, I've often wondered the same thing. Love the area though. If you're just looking to screw around on something resembling rock, try hiking up the falls at the opposite end of the lake. A ways up the trail there are a series of small swimming hole like pools that you can swim between under the water. Near the lowest pools I found a pretty fun problem over sand and water. Besides that I'm at a loss. - bret

Thanks for the info. I'll bring my shoes with me, just in case I find anything. I'll PM you about anything I find or don't find. :D

Touch base with Summit Adventures in Bass Lake. There are about 30 summer instructures there that could probably give you a great idea of the opportunities.

I didn't really get to do any exploring around the lake, but from what I saw it doesn't look as if Bass Lake has anything to offer. It was a nice place though, and I had a great time camping. :D
