I personally like the velcro (UFO's). If your velcro is dieing, send them to Tony and Nan at the Rubber Room on the east side (thats Sierra's not NY). Tony can hook ya up with super sticky velcro.

I hated them. Gash me blisters and just genraly didnt fit my feet. If they dont do any of the above then get them.

I have a narrow heel and I really like the fit of the Anasazi's and the 5.10 X-rays. Only difference btwn the two is that one has a synthetic upper and there other is leather.
Hey Ricky...I heard you have been climbing with my friend Mala down in PR. I might be joining them in a couple of weeks down there to climb.

the first time i bought new shoes i tried them and hated them. but my next shoes will be 5.10's... so perhaps i'll try them on again....

I've always had fit issue with 5.10's and I never really like the way the look anyways. I'm not really a 5.10 fan but, none the less they are still a decent shoe.

yesterday i almost bought a pair, i found them for a really good price.. ..however, i have a really thin foot, and i havnt ever owned a decent pair of lined shoes, mine have all been unlined. after much deliberation i bought a pair of scarpa dominators.. ..whoa, now.. ..these things FIT!, damn they fit, there are no dead spots anywhere in the shoe, not even in the heel, now i just hope the rubber is sticky enough, or i just may have to get a 5.10 resole. my previous shoes were moccasyms which sofar, have been the best pair of shoes ive owned, after you strech them out they're like a glove. but expensive.

I love my 5.10 velco's for every thing except cranking on toe jams. they're a little too sensitive for that!

I really like the Anasazi Velcros, unless I am climbing a slab or a vertical, crimpy route. When they are new, the work well on small edges, but after a while they start to roll off my foot on slabs. I don't climb many slabs unless I am trad climbing, then I usually wear a pair of Aces. I know several people who only climb in the Ansasazi Velcos, and refuse to try anything else. I always have a good pair myself.
