Alright, so after much deliberation our spring break trip is now most likely heading to Bishop. We may still stop at Joes Valley for a a day or two on the way back but we will see. The reason I am posting is to see what people think is the best V4-V6 in the area. Since I live in Nebraska we only have the bouldering gym that I run and we do not have anything to gauge exactly how hard our routes are we do not know where we climb on the V-scale. We just made up a system so that everyone would be able to have an idea how hard things are comparatively at our gym. But I am pretty sure that we have some routes that would be V2 and probably V3 possibly more. I really don't know and I don't really care except it would be nice to have an idea of what we all climb so we can pick out a few problems we want to make sure we try while we are in Bishop. For me I am guessing that I can reasonably work up to V6 and so I want to know what problems would be a "must try" in this range. Thank you for any help. We greatly value any help as our time on real rock is extremely precious! Have a great day!

just thought I'd weigh in on this. Happys- Ground Water (V5), Hulk (V6), Big Chicken (V4-sit down, V5 with the long entry)Rave (V5) Buttermilk: Ironman Traverse (everyone does it-V4), Grovel Roof (v4), Change of Heart (v6), Luluator, and King Tut (V3-4, but fun). Have a great time, there are a million problems out there that are more fun than their grade would indicate. don't get stuck in the "i'm too tough for V1" mentality and miss some of the best stuff out there.

Thanks to everyone who has thrown out some suggestions so far, I will definately check into them. Also I am not at all saying that I will not climb stuff that is "easier" by the ratings. I will hopefully climb a ton of stuff but I wanted to pick out a few harder problems to work while I am there! Thanks again and feel free to offer more suggestions!
