I don't know what they're called but this is about those hand workout things (with the resistance springs at the top). I'm wondering if there is a best way to do these for climbing gains? Is there a way that I risk damaging tendons? Do these help much? Any thoughts? Forgive me if this has been brought up before, send the link this way.

Ah yes forearm exercisers. Good for forearm pump. They are good for grip strength. But can be bad on the tendons if you let them spring back in your hands. When you use them try to have a control and let them out slowly. Avoid the snaping back action. Black Diamond makes a donut type one that works well. I think it works better than those spring type ones. I think.

ya, BD makes a blue round or donut shaped forearm excerciser. You just open and close your hand or just hold on to it closed for as long as you can. It does help your forearms quite a bit too. Only about 4.99 at the store too so it's worth the money! -Adam
