I guess if your tub is slippery then it might be nice to have some mad rubber in there.

It works fine. Just try to remember that prolonged exposure to heat can delaminate shoes. The synthetic Madrocks do not tend to stretch much at all.

I've done it. It seemed to work. I think the biggest benefit was cleaning the stinkers

Just remember to keep them on til dry. If they don't need to stretch, don't bother.

just to repeat it, if they're synthetic leather or lined, then it's probably not going to help much.

To help break shoes in I wear them around the house and spray them with just a little water to simulate sweat. It really helped me break in my shoes. Erik

get bigger shoes you are missing the point of small shoes. Why do you wnat to stretch small shoes? just buy exchange for a bigger pair, and leave the hemmoroid. Shoes will stretch out by a tine bit, you wont realy notice it.

Don't listen to Dima. I got my first pair a size smaller than my street shoes, Mad Rock Flash's. I thought I had gotten way too small when I first wore them for a few minutes and climbed my house. I did the shower thing and wore them all over the house or when I was just sitting around. I also climbed in them as often as possible. Very very soon they came to fit me perfect and did not hurt until I climbed in them for an hour or so and had to walk around in them (I forgot my tennis shoes and felt like an idiot, later in the day I wanted to cry). If you do like Dima and buy bigger, they will still stretch and then they will be too big. There is so much friggin' info about shoes on this site it's ridiculous.

When I got my first pair (Boreal Diablos) I just wore them around the house until they got sweaty for a while. Did this for a week or so, then climbed in them, never had a prob. Fit like a golve.
