Are you asking about a place to learn as in a climbing school or guide? OR Are you referring to a place to practice as a beginning aid climber? If it's the latter, then: When I started aid, I just went up to the hills where I was living, and already knowing the basics(not gonna get into this as it's a list and I'm feeling lazy - suffice it to say, that I was a comfortable trad leader) just found a climb and solo-aided it. Didn't yet have all the gear(jumars, fifi, hauling setup...), so I made due with cord and biners. Honestly, just find a crack and go. Try not to take up the popular line at the popular cliff on the popular day. Other than that, you're good to go. Have fun and be prepared to work your ass off. Aiding is about thinking on your feet and doing what needs to be done. Enjoy!!! Hope I answered the right question! -Jason :D
