A friend and I were thinking about heading to Indian Creek for part of Thanksgiving week (got a whole week off from school this year!) - just wondering if this is a good time to go. I checked weather.com and it looks like the average highs for that part of the month are in the low 40s, which is a little chillier than I usually enjoy, but I know that sun/shade can be a huge factor in how cold it feels so I would like to hear from some people who have actually been there at that time of year.

Thanks!

well, i am hopefully going to be down in moab over thanksgiving break as well. I've climbed there at the end of october, it gets cold at night and in the morning, but in the sun it's nice. It's acually at a higher elevation than you'd expect so it does get pretty chilly. Just bring some warm stuff, climb in the sun, life will be good. maybe i'll see you down there

it's a pretty good time of year to climb in the sun. the only drawback is lack of daylight.

I'll be there for a week or so beginning the day after thanksgiving with some people. if you see a red toyota tacoma with utah plates andd climbing stickers, come by and say hi!

I was out there last weekend, it was super nice in the sun, little chilly in the shade, night temps dropped to about 38. I'm hoping to be out there at least part of the week for Thanksgiving may be I'll see some more of you's around!

when ever i look at the weather moab is about 30-40 degrees. i remember the creek being colder than moab. not sure if im heading down or not now. might just head to red rocks since it will be warmer.
