Hi, I have an opportunity to buy a pair of these for cheap. They feel fine walking around in the basement but I was looking for feedback on comfort for walking, frontpointing, durability, warmth at altitude, etc. Anyone have firsthand experience with the boot? Thanks! **Edited to reflect that since posting this I figured out how to work the search function for the site and have found some similar threads.

I'm trying to find info as well, with little luck. Where did you find them cheap?

So does anyone else have comments on these boots? I'm trying to decide whether or not to buy a pair. My feet are always cold.

Everybody's feet are different. I certainly wouldn't buy anything without trying them on first. Try on several brands and see what fits you best. I tried on a pair of 9000's and they didn't fit me AT ALL! I have wide feet with a high arch. But you're feet may be different. I ended up with a Scarpa Freney XT's which fit my feet really well. Best, Kim

I've had the chance to try all of vasques boots. I have nothing but GREAT things to say. They do fit my feet though, and that is the most important thing. My bro Kelly Cordes has had them on his feet since they hit the market, he has worn them in tons of crazy azz cold places, and swears by their warmth. A handful of other friends have take them to the greater ranges as well, and I have never heard any complaints about the production models. My buddies are pretty hard, but I've never heard about them using overboots, or needing too. The Vasque boys are good folks and flying the flag for this is good style. I hope my feedback, and bias are useful. If I can answer more clearly, let me know, Brent
